Can you send/receive emails from my domain, and monitor an inbox?

Yes, we can provide email monitoring for your domain-specific addresses (such as: YourName@CompanyName.com) similar to our Virtual Receptionist Service. We will actually learn your business, send real responses, and function as a member of your staff. We can even send custom quotes and estimates to your customers – whatever you want to teach us to do.

Is there a minimum commitment or contract?

No. Your subscription to our service is month-to-month, and can be ended at any time by clicking here. There are no cancellation fees or penalties of any kind.

Do you have any sort of guarantee?

Our goal is to be as transparent as possible about the scope of our service and the capability of our staff. If you feel that we have failed to provide the service described on our website, please contact our billing department, and we will do everything we can to make things right.

What is the scope of your service?

In an effort to be of the greatest service possible to our customers, we will work on tasks that our staff is not explicitly trained to do. We call these “Best Effort Tasks.” Most tasks that require unassisted learning and/or creativity are considered Best Effort Tasks.

The results of Best Effort Tasks vary, no warranties or guarantees are provided, and the time it takes to complete them may be longer than usual because of the learning curve involved.

We will not begin work on a Best Effort Task without notifying the client and receiving approval to proceed.

Client: Use this trendy new service to create an awesome slide show for my upcoming presentation.

LongerDays: Sure, we would be happy to use “SuperAwesomeSlideShows.com” to create a presentation. You should know that we’ve never used this service before, and this is what we call a “best effort task.” Is it okay to proceed?

Client: Yes, go ahead!

What types of tasks won’t you perform?

We will not assist with anything illegal, or with anything degrading to our staff.

Can you perform recurring tasks?

Yes! Recurring tasks are one of the most effective ways for us to provide you with the best possible service. With recurring work, it’s “set it and forget it.” Once we know how to do the task, and know how often to complete it, you don’t have to worry about it!

Recurring tasks also allow us to make sure you’re getting value out of our service, even if you don’t have a chance to send over new work.

Where are your workers located?

We are 100% US-based, and we all work together in a secure office located in Muskegon, Michigan. All work remains in our office. By working with us, you are keeping money in the U.S. economy and creating jobs for Americans!

What is the client area?

The client area is where we organize tasks, communicate with clients, store files, and keep track of the time we spend working for each client.

Our client area is a project management system tailored specifically to help us provide the best possible service to our clients. You’ll be able to login at any time to see exactly how much time you have left on your plan, which tasks are open or completed, and access files from past tasks.

What if I go over the time included in my monthly plan?

If you use all of the time in your plan, your Virtual Assistant will notify you and present the following options:

  1. Stop work until your plan refreshes
  2. Continue work at the next best hourly rate
  3. Increase your hours to the next plan level

How can I monitor progress on tasks I’ve delegated?

Through the Client Area, you will be able to keep track of which tasks your assistant is working on. In addition, you can view project details, including how much has been spent on each task and the overall time remaining on your plan.

We encourage clients to have weekly check-ins with their Virtual Assistant. This is an opportunity to delegate new work and get updates on tasks in progress. Finally, because we all work together in a single office, your Virtual Assistant is actively supervised by our management staff.

Can I add other people to my account?

Yes! You can add coworkers, friends, and family members to your account. You will be given the opportunity to do so after signing up for our service. All we need is your permission, their name, and an email address. There is no extra charge for adding others to your account.
