Using our virtual assistance is easy... |
Immediately after signing up you'll complete a short preferences survey. We'll ask how you prefer to be contacted, what software you use (so that we know what file types we should send you), what type of work you will be assigning, what you are looking for in a virtual assistant, and a few other questions intended to help us assist you better and match you up with the right person to work with.
Shortly after signing up, your virtual assistant will send you an email to introduce themselves. In this email, they will also give you their contact information and instructions on how to get started. If you would like, you can arrange a phone call to get introduced to your virtual assistant and familiarize them with your tasks.
When you have a task you want taken care of you'll send it to your virtual assistant via email, text message, phone call to our 1-800 number, or Instant Message. You can specify anything you like - for instance, a time frame for getting the work done or an amount of time that you want your assistant to spend on the task before reporting back to you with a progress update. If your task is more in depth and requires training, you can arrange to discuss it over the phone with your virtual assistant, use screen sharing software to demonstrate how to do something, etc.
Your virtual assistant gets to work completing the task. They will only bill your plan for the actual time spent completing the task. In the Client Area you'll be able to see exactly how much time you have left on your plan, which tasks are open or completed, and access files from past tasks. Your virtual assistant may recruit other people on our staff to get the work done more quickly or delegate the task to a virtual assistant who has experience. For instance, if the task requires Photoshop, rather than your virtual assistant taking time to learn the software, they'll give it to our resident Photoshop expert who will be able to do the task much more quickly and with better results.
When your virtual assistant is done completing the task, they will submit the results to you via email (unless another method was specified in your instructions) and close the task. Work gets done but you didn't have to do it. What will you do with the time you saved?
