Privacy / Data Security

 

How secure are my documents and data?

Electronic data is stored in either:

  • Our secure Dropbox account
  • Cloud-based services that you instruct us to use (e.g. CRM software, Google Drive, etc.)

 

Are my passwords secure?

We take security very seriously. Any login information we use on your behalf is safely stored in LastPass.

 

Where is your team located?

We are 100% US-based, and we all work remotely as a distributed team. Our staff is located in various cities all across Michigan.

 

Does LongerDays offer a non-disclosure agreement?

All of our clients are sent an optional non-disclosure agreement with LongerDays. Please contact us if you would like to review a copy of our non-disclosure agreement before signing up for service.

All LongerDays staff members sign a non-disclosure agreement stating that (among other things) they will never disclose any of our clients’ confidential or proprietary information.

 

Subscriptions / Billing

Is there a minimum commitment or contract?

No. Your subscription is month-to-month, and can be ended at any time via our cancellation form.

There are no cancellation fees or penalties of any kind.

 

Can I cancel my subscription at anytime?

Absolutely. Contact your Team Lead prior to the next billing renewal date (1st of each month) and, with a heavy heart, we’ll process your cancellation request. If you’ve already been billed for the current month, the cancellation request will not take effect until the following month. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time. 

 

When will I be billed?

You’ll be billed when you sign up, and on the 1st of each subsequent month until you cancel your subscription.

 

Do unused hours roll over?

No. This ensures we are sufficiently staffed to match our client workload. Our plans are designed to be the right size for any business. In addition, we have plenty of ways to effectively utilize any remaining time each month! If you have questions, please contact our friendly sales staff.

 

Are there any additional costs?

There are absolutely no hidden costs, activation fees, premium rate tasks, additional taxes, or cancellation fees.

Products or services purchased on your behalf  (e.g., postage) can be added to your invoice or can be purchased with an alternative payment method you provide. We won’t ever purchase anything without your prior approval, so there won’t be any surprises.

If you’re unsure of the optimal plan for you, ask our Sales Department to review your needs and determine the right plan level for your business.

If you need more hours, we make it very easy to upgrade mid-month. Our goal is to make your plan choice painless.

 

How do you track time for tasks?

We bill all time to the minute using time tracking built into our task management system.

 

What if I exceed the time included in my monthly plan?

If you consume all of the time in your plan, your Team Lead will notify you and present the following options:

  • Stop work until your plan refreshes
  • Continue work at your current hourly rate
  • Upgrade your subscription hours to the next plan level (and lower hourly rate)

 

Are there services that LongerDays does not provide?

Our staff is talented, creative, and full of very capable learners, so most business tasks are within our scope.

We specifically do not perform:

  • Sales cold-calls, but we are happy to follow up on warm sales inquiries
  • Collections calls, but we’re great at creating invoices and doing follow up reminder calls
  • Bookkeeping, but we are well-versed at invoicing on behalf of our clients
  • Software development, but we’re wizards at WordPress and website development

What are your payment options?

We accept all major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
